Happy New Year, friends!
2018 was such a wonderfully delicious year, and it deserves some remembering. I shared more recipes than ever— 125 to be exact! And for the first time I branched out to make savory recipes part of my normal posting. The response I got was overwhelming— you all loved it! And, so did I. Definitely look for more of the same in 2019.
And without further ado, here are 2018’s most popular recipes:
Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies— These may be my all-time favorite cookies. Soft and gooey in the middle, crisp on the edges, and so much great flavor thanks to the brown butter!
Instant Pot Thai Chicken— I’m not really surprised this recipe made this list, Instant Pots were huge in 2018! And this easy weeknight meal deserves the spotlight.
Best Buttermilk Waffles— I’ve been making these waffles for years and they really are the very best! Thanks to a secret ingredients they’re crisp on the outside and light and cakey on the inside.
Tin Can Margaritas— There is no easier way to serve a big batch of cocktails to a crowd! I hope “invite more friends over for drinks” is on your list of New Year’s resolutions!
Best Ever Fruit Salad— A few simple additions turns a boring bowl of fruit into an elegant side dish perfect for brunches, showers, and holidays!
Sugar Cookie Bars— Sugar cookies made so much easier! No chilling, rolling, or cutting out required.
Steak Fettuccine Alfredo— Opting to stay in for dinner never looked so good. Plus, there’s only 6 ingredients and it takes just 30 minutes to make!
Whipped Vanilla Buttercream Frosting— This buttercream frosting is CRAZY good. And if you pay close enough attention, you’ll see it on so many cakes, cupcakes, and cookies throughout my site.
Sheet Pan Pizza— I finally shared my family’s Friday pizza night recipe! If you don’t have a regular pizza night on your menu rotation, it’s time to change that.
Coconut Cream Lime Cake— I made this cake for my husband’s birthday and it was one of my favorite things I baked all year. The combo of lime and coconut in this layer cake can’t be beat!
Thanks for helping to make 2018 so great. Cheers to a happy (and delicious) 2019!
