roasted asian-glazed salmon and broccoli on a sheet pan

I have a basic roasted salmon recipe that my family loves, but when we’re craving something a little different, this Asian-glazed salmon and broccoli recipe is the one I reach for!

It’s packed with big flavor thanks to Asian-inspired ingredients like sesame oil, ginger, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and garlic. The salmon is tender, moist and flaky, and roasting it alongside broccoli on a single sheet pan is a brilliant way to make it a more complete and delicious meal.

Step by step instructions

This really is an incredibly easy recipe with just 3 steps, and only a few minutes of active work required!

  1. Make marinade. Whisk together marinade ingredients and pour over salmon in a ziplock bag, saving a little for glazing later.
  2. Chill the salmon for 30 minutes while the marinade works its magic. Meanwhile, prep the broccoli and preheat the oven.
  3. Roast salmon and broccoli. Arrange everything together on a single sheet pan in a 425°F oven for 15-20 minutes, glazing the salmon halfway through with the rest of the marinade.
  4. Serve and enjoy! Add some noodles or steamed rice if you want.
