Favorite 2012 recipes

Here we are, another year come and gone. Can you believe it? 2012 was a good year for us. I became a Mom and … well that pretty much sums it up. It’s been one crazy amazing ride. Amid all the chaos that comes with new parenthood, I did manage to make some pretty sweet treats in my kitchen this year. Here are a handful of my favorites.

  3. I love that your favorite moment was becoming a mom. Even with the amazing recipes that you have, it’s hard to beat motherhood!

  4. DONUTS… those donuts were my fave too. Hmmm. I don’t start my resolutions until after my birthday (this weekend) so I should hurry and whip a batch of those up!

  5. That Cherry Cola Cake and the Donuts… oh help me. They look so goood! Is it bad if I eat a 3 layer cake all by myself? ;)

  6. It’s not even 9am and I have a sudden insane craving for something sweet, preferably your brown butter skillet cookie. Oh my!

      The skillet cookie may be the best thing I made last year. If you’re going to splurge, it’s totally worth it! :)

    OHHH yum. I missed the boat on trying some of these…trying to avoid sweets for at least January haha, but after that….
    Favorite thing I ate this year? Wow that’s tough, probably either Smitten Kitten’s chocolate silk pie or your mile high apple pie. One thing you must try that I am making soon, google James Beard’s persimmon bread. Always a favorite of mine. Happy new year, thanks for all the delish recipes and congrats again on your little one :)
