Sunday Stuff
It’s been a few weeks since I’ve shared my Sunday ramblings. What can I say? Summer is a busy fun time.
>> We spent the long 4th of July weekend at our cabin in Idaho. It was a quick fun weekend and we can’t wait to go back in August!
>> Are you watching the world cup final today? My husband has been way into it, and I must admit it’s sucked me in too. Go Germany!
>> I made my first batch of strawberry jam of the season! And we’ve already devoured two jars. Find my favorite recipe here.
>> Speaking of canning, I got sucked into this magazine in the checkout line last week. It’s gorgeous. I want to can all the stuff!
>> The kind folks at Cappello’s sent me some of their gluten-free pasta to sample. Surprisingly tasty! I just loved the gnocchi, seen here served with bacon, mushrooms, peas and crispy sage.
>>Grandparents are the best. We had a blast with my folks last week!
>> Favorite recipes from around the web this week— Grilled Cherry Milkshakes from The Edible Perspective, Strawberry Shortcake Mousse Cups from I Am Baker, and Chicken Ceasar Burger with Parmesan Chips from Climbing Grier Mountain.
I hope you all have a fabulous week!
I have that canning magazine- I picked it up on a whim last summer. I made a couple recipes and both were fantastic. We need to plan a day. That gnocchi sounds looks delicious!
Yes! As soon as you’re settled in your new place we’re doing a day of canning! Can’t wait.
Summer is full of crazy busy fun stuff!
