We’ve all been there before— the devastation of a cake that sticks to the pan and comes out in pieces. And bundt pans can be the worst offenders if you’re not thorough enough in your greasing. Here are two methods I recommend:

  1. Use non-stick baking spray that included flour in it, such as Baker’s Joy. Spray it very thoroughly so that every nook and cranny of the bundt pan is well-covered.
  2. Use a pastry brush to brush the pan with melted butter, again making sure to coat every surface. Then dust with flour, dumping out any excess.
