Strawberry Chocolate Fool
  1. Wash strawberries, remove stems, and slice.
  2. Toss with sugar, balsamic vinegar and vanilla extract.
  3. Spread in a single layer on a sheet pan lined with parchment paper or in a shallow baking dish.
  4. Roast in a 350 degree oven until strawberries have released their juices and they have started to thicken, but before they begin to burn.
  5. Serve warm or chilled.
