Sunday Stuff 2/1
Happy Sunday friends!
I know I just told you how much I don’t like football, but here’s the thing. Being from Seattle, I have to be a Seahawks fan. While I don’t really enjoy watching any of the games, I love to see them win. So today I will be watching (mostly for the food and a little bit for the commercials) and cheering on my hometown.
>> Speaking of super bowl commercials, better get out a tissue for this new Budweiser commercial. Cuteness overload!
>> If you were a teenager in the late 90’s, then chances are you love 10 Things I Hate About You as Much as I do. I recently watched it at my dentist’s office while I was getting a cavity filled (and while I was on nitrous oxide) and I fell in love all over again. 20 reasons why 10 Things I Hate About You is a cinematic masterpiece.
>> I’m still mourning the loss of Parenthood. Did you catch the finale? Go back and watch the last 5 minutes again. I noticed a few fun things I didn’t catch the first time around though the tears.
>> 25 meaningful things you can do in 30 minutes or less.
>> I am not much of a gamer on my iphone, but I have recently become severely addicted to this game. I think I need an intervention.
>> What are your favorite pictures book from when you were a kid? Do you remember any? We visited the library this week for the first time since John has been really interested in books and I picked out some of my old faves. Like this one. And we found a few new faves too, like this one. Would love to hear your favorites!
That’s it for today. Have a happy Sunday and wonderful week! xoxo
Did I miss the recipe? Your son is adorable! Looks just like you!
Thanks Noreen! What recipe are you looking for?
The brownies with blue sprinkles 🙂
The brownies pictured are my Triple Chocolate Brownies. I make them all the time!
Oh, my gosh, we absolutely LOVED books growing up. That is one of my biggest childhood memories, picking out five books (or seven, or however many our mom was up to that night) and sitting next to my mom while she read them to us. We loved Grouchy Ladybug, the Clifford books, Richard Scary and the Little Red Hen. Of course you can never go wrong with Dr. Seuss. Ooh, I’m excited for your boy!
Now I need to rewatch 10 Things I Hate About You! Also, I will send over a list of books later. I have tons! =)
