Girls Ski Getaway – Park City, Utah
A few weeks ago I had the privilege of spending a whole weekend with some of my best blogging gal pals at Deer Valley Resort in Park City, Utah. Being a Utah local I get to visit Deer Valley often, but this little getaway was special. The whole agenda consisted of nothing but fun— skiing, dining and relaxing.
We’re foodies, so of course there was fabulous food! There was the gourmet buffet served from huge stone fireplaces at Fireside Dining, blueberry mojitos and tacos at Royal Street Cafe, and brick oven comfort food from The Brass Tag.
But we didn’t just dine out! A huge thank you to the Park City Whole Foods for providing us with groceries and making sure we ate well at the condo too. Not only were we able to make breakfast together each morning, and enjoy après ski snacks each afternoon, but on Sunday the local Whole Foods chef came out and made us gourmet grilled cheese and soup. Doesn’t get much better than that!
Okay, so the food was amazing, but the skiing was just downright awesome. We’ve had a very warm winter here in Utah and I was worried that the snow wouldn’t live up to expectations, but then a storm came in and saved the day. The ski conditions were almost perfect and I think I had a grin plastered on my face the entire time.
Each afternoon we returned to our condo to collapse in exhaustion on the big comfy couch for some quality girl time. We talked about it all— boys, babies, blogging and more.
We even painted our fingernails and talked fashion (how girly are we?). When Tieks heard we were doing a girls weekend, they jumped on board to help it live up to the name. All weekend long we oogled over each other’s shoe color choices and stressed over our own (I mean, just look at all these choices!)
All too soon our eating/skiing/girly weekend was over and we went home to our separate parts of the country. But we’re already planning Girls Getaway 2016 and I can’t wait!
My gal pals for the weekend— Erin from Well Plated, Meagan from A Zesty Bite, Lauren from Climbing Grier Mountain, Becky from Vintage Mixer, Megan from Country Cleaver and Liz from Floating Kitchen.
Disclosure: Thank you to Deer Valley and Whole Foods for making this weekend possible, and thank you to Tieks for making our weekend a little more girly. My shoes were purchased with a gift card. All opinions here are 100% my own, as always.
Looks like you had a great girl getaway! I’m not a big fan of skiing but all those yummy dishes look amazing 🙂

Just love it. So glad we can now be friends “in real life”. Hugs all around!
Oh, fun! I didn’t go skiing a single time this year since we had such a dumper of a winter and nothing to ski on. Good thing the weather came through for you just in time. Don’t you love weekend trips?
Looks like a wonderful weekend! =)
