Completely Different: Backpacking through the Enchantments
Welcome to a new series on my blog, Completely Different, where I’ll share some of my adventures outside the kitchen.
I spent four days last week backpacking with some of my family through the Enchantments, a gorgeous group of alpine lakes and peaks in the Cascade Mountains of Washington state. It was so incredible and I just had to show you some of my photos, although I must admit no photo can quite do this landscape justice.
Hiking through the Enchantments is no small feat. We hiked more than 30 miles and most of those miles were very steep. The exhaustion, aches, and pains were all worth it though as we were rewarded with some of the prettiest scenery I have ever seen.
It is clear how this area got its name. It truly is enchanting. Even after 4 days of re-hydrated freeze-dried meals, sleeping on the ground, and no toilet or washing facilities, it was still hard for me to say goodbye.
WOW this is absolutely gorgeous!! I’ve never done a long hike like that, but would love to some day!
Gorgeous! I’m glad you’re enjoying your vacations!

So beautiful! Thanks for sharing.
Oh wow, breathtaking!! Whenever I go hiking here in Utah, my allergies act up and make things horrible even after taking OTC medication.
First off, I LOVE the name and look forward to more of this series! Second, these photos are gorgeous. I can’t wait to hear all about your trip. I used to do a bunch of backpacking in college but haven’t in years. You’re making me want to dust off my backpack and plan a trip!
I like to travel myself and take more photos, which can then be sold on various resources. For example, I myself use pineapple images for my project. It is the best solution for those looking for quality photos and videos for their projects. With an impressive collection of high-quality images and a wide range of themes, Depositphotos can satisfy any client’s needs
