When I first hit “publish” on my first recipe in 2008— for chocolate chip cookies, of course!— I had no clue what the future would hold.

(Here’s a really bad photo of those cookies. And that old recipe is long gone now, replaced by these best-ever chocolate chip cookies)

I would never had guessed that I’d turn this an actual real job, that I’d share almost 1,000 more recipes, and that I’d make so many new friends, both virtually and in real life.

What a fun, wild ride it’s been. And it’s all because of wonderful readers like YOU!
