Sunday Stuff 11/16
Happy Sunday! Come see what I’ve been up to this week, plus some of my current faves and new finds.
It’s been a rather uneventful week around our house and I think it must be the calm before the crazy whirlwind of the holidays. I’m trying to enjoy it while I can— naps, lazy walks, cookie baking just for fun, etc.
This week also brought abrupt change from fall to winter here in Utah. Last week I was in flip-flops and a light jacket, but now our heaviest coats, hats and gloves are necessary. Plus, our first snow flurries!
Goodbye fall, you were lovely.
And now for some Sunday stuff!
A photo of my brown butter chocolate chip cookies went gangbusters on instagram earlier this week. And I can see why, it’s one of my favorite recipes.
I had some new headshots taken this week by my talented friend Heidi. Here’s a sneak peek!
I loved this video so much about how we can turn envy into admiration and abundance. “It’s understandable to want to fight for a bigger piece of the pie, but it’s admirable to fight for a bigger pie.”
If you’re a swimmer like me, this app is a must for tracking your workouts.
We made this honey mustard chicken for dinner this week. So yummy!
I need this cake.
Or maybe this cake.
So slow down and enjoy it:
13 tips and tricks to become a better baker.
This is definitely going on my menu plan for the next week.
Lastly, I was just wondering what you thought of these weekly posts? Do you read them, or would you prefer something less frequent? I’d love to hear your feedback!
I love this kind of posts, they help make the blog more personal and let us readers get to know you better!
I love that shot of you baking cookies and how adorable is your dog lying on the floor?!!!
xo, Elisa
I enjoy these posts. It’s interesting to see what goes on in your life outside of baking.
Love these posts, Annalise! And I’ve had that honey chicken from Heidi in my queue for awhile now! Gorgeous new head shots! xo
Love reading these posts! Keep ’em coming!
I like these posts too, I like seeing glimpses into the real lives of bloggers! And of course seeing oh-so-cute John 🙂
This is the first one I’ve read. I really like it. I have a top ten monthly things, and I was thinking on changing the format to be a little more simple like this. I’ll be coming back next Sunday. Great head shots!
I always enjoy your Sunday posts, Annalise. Your headshot looks beautiful! Hugs from TX. xo 🙂
Thanks for the tips!
Love your headshots and baby John pictures! And also enjoy reading your Sunday stuffs. =)
