One of my good friends, Zach, is a manager at Lunatic Fringe Salon in Salt Lake City, and it is he who I trust to manage the wild frizzball that is my hair. A few months ago Zach asked me if I would be interested in providing desserts for this year’s annual charity fundraiser on April 17th.

I think my first response was, OMG!

I was flattered he thought of me, but also very nervous to make the jump from food blogger to food caterer. I almost turned him down, but changed my mind at the last minute. What the hell, I thought, it would be a great opportunity and also a lot of fun. And it’s all for a good cause.

Do you see my logo? Down there at the very bottom? It’s hard to see, I know. But I’m there, it’s really happening! And I’m so excited to be involved. I’ve picked some particularly delicious recipes from this site that are sure to be a hit and I can’t wait to tell you all about it. This next week is going to be a flury of baking (and probably also some stress and loss of sleep).

I invite everyone in the Salt Lake City area to join me at Pierpont Place on April 17th at 6:00pm. It’s going to be an amazing event and one stylish party. And I can promise that the desserts will be especially fabulous!
