I have neglected to update you on what I’ve been learning in culinary school. My baking class is going well and I’ve been making a lot of delicious things. Every class we typically make a yeast bread, a pie or tart pastry, a quick bread or muffins and sometimes something else. Since I’m least experienced with yeast breads I’ve really enjoyed learning how to make bread well. I’ve always been intimidated by bread, but I think I’m finally getting the hang of it.

Here are some of the things I’ve made:

Fresh Fruit Tarts

Bread Pudding with Creme Anglaise and Espresso Sauce

Wheat Rolls with Cranberry Walnut Butter

Morning Glory Muffins with Cream Cheese Glaze

Honey Wheat Bread
